Cordes Machine is a CNC Machine Shop, located in Union County NJ,  we are designers, machine builders, fabricators and CNC machinists for replacement parts with expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics and electrical systems.  We rebuild existing machines and provide machine shop and engineering services.  We work from your ideas or sketches to produce custom designed machines or just replacement parts, either manually machined or CNC machined, at low cost with short term delivery for plant maintenance. We started in 1946 by providing machine shop services in Union County NJ to local customers.  As their source for job shop machining and machine maintenance as well as parts, fixtures and tooling we gained long term relationships with customers through three generations.  In 1972, when we became a division of Remington Industries, we added capability for design, engineering1 and fabrication of custom machines.  Notable among the many large and small machines we've built for large and small companies was the world's first true CNC wood stair stringer router in 1987 which is still in production operation.  Our CNC Machines and our small machines are built to last with low maintenance.

Through the years we have listened to our customers about what was needed to get the job done.  We've provided CNC machined parts and custom machines which are both cost effective and highly functional.  We've modified existing machines built by others to change function or improve performance.  Our machine design ability has enabled us to significantly increase production with the same or less manpower.  On occasion customers have given excellent reviews to their competitors about our industrial engineering suggestions and for delivering a custom machine that performed far beyond their expectations.
